Babylon: Daniel's Courage in Captivity

Vacation Bible School at Enon Baptist will begin Sunday night, July 8th, at 6:00PM.  We hope to see you then as we learn from the Daniel as he shares stories of courage while in captivity.  We will meet each night through Wednesday the 11th. On Sunday the 15th during the morning worship service, the children will sing their songs from the week for the congregation.  After the service, we will have a Church-wide Picnic for everyone.  Hot dogs and drinks will be provided. We ask that everyone bring a sidedish.  We look forward to this time to have fellowship, fun, games and crafts that bring Rome to life and help kids to build on their faith and relationship with Jesus.

Camp Willow Run

On November 3rd - 5th, the student ministry spends a weekend with other churches, learning about how to grow with God. Camp Willow Run has a beautiful campus located on the edge of Lake Gaston in Littleton, NC. The lodgings for Camp Willow Run are boxcars that have been renovated into suites that include bunk beds, a full size bathroom with multiple stalls and a heating system. Bring a sleeping bag to help stay warm.

Wednesday Nights

For our Wednesday evening bible study, we start with a church-wide dinner in the Fellowship Hall served at 6PM. For our younger students in elementary school, we have Faith Weaver Friends. There they will worship Jesus through song, memorizing Scripture, journaling, and ending with a time of fellowship through games.

For our middle & high school students, we have a student-led time of worship and discussion of God's Word. Starting with a large assembly of both middle and high school students, after a brief introduction we separate into groups for more intentional discussions of what the passage of Scripture is saying to each of us as a whole.

For the adults who aren't serving as leaders, we have the Men's group, a class for ladies, and a third class for anyone who may want to discuss Jesus. All are dedicated to discussion and fellowship in God's Word.

Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings, we start Sunday School at 9:45AM for an hour long study of God's Word. We follow Sunday School with

Each Wednesday night at 6 P.M. a fellowship meal is offered in the Fellowship Hall. At 6:30 students gather for worship in the Student Center. Pastor Scott teaches a truth from the Bible, and then students will breakout into groups to take a more in-depth look at applying God's Word to their lives. Groups are typically grade and gender specific, which allows students to open up as they explore God's Word, study specific life issues, and build deep friendships.
